Meet Greg Topf
Founder and Chief Consultant of Club Tek, Limited
As the Founder and Chief Consultant of Club Tek, Limited, Greg Topf’s passion is to give advice to a select group of elite private clubs, member-driven organizations, and high-level businesses that demand discretion, continuity, and strategic technological leadership. Greg transitioned entirely into private consulting after working in Senior IT and technology positions for more than 25 years, with a concentration on long-term thinking, and depth of knowledge over volume-based services.
Greg has worked in a variety of industries during his career, including charitable organizations, private clubs, public education, financial services, and private family offices.
Although the private club industry continues to be a major focus, Greg’s experience goes far beyond that, offering a broad viewpoint influenced by settings with stringent rules, high standards, and zero tolerance.
Through Club Tek, Greg serves as a vCIO/vCTO, strategic advisor, and a trusted hands-on technical partner, working closely with ownership, boards, and internal teams.
His approach is practical and collaborative, emphasizing long-term planning, security, and operational resilience over trends or one-size-fits-all solutions. His work is relationship-driven, with engagements designed for continuity and trust rather than transactional support.
Outside of work, Greg was a former avid endurance cyclist, having completed the 550-mile Empire State Ride for cancer research multiple times, as well as spending a week cycling across Death Valley, before surgeries ultimately brought that chapter to a close. In late 2025, he moved to rural Pennsylvania, where he now lives in the peaceful mountains of the Poconos with his Boston Terrier, Mia and geckos. The quiet setting offers space for reflection and focus, reinforcing the thoughtful, deliberate approach he brings to his work.
